Today’s blog comes from a daily writing prompt. While this topic has often come up in conversations with friends over the years, I’m surprised I’ve never written about it. The prompt: “Did you have a Celebrity Crush growing up?” If I am being honest, I had a few. Sometimes, the only reason I watched a specific TV show was because of the celebrity crush.

I am guessing that many of these gals made the lists of many young men. I guess you’d call many of them sex symbols. Here is my list:

Lynda Carter – Wonder Woman

Marilu Henner – Taxi

Jaclyn Smith – Charlie’s Angels

I'm just a guy who likes the classics. I love Old Time Radio Shows. I love Classic TV. I love Classic Movies. I love songs from the "Great American Songbook". I dig songs from the first decade of Rock and Roll. Don't get me wrong, I am not opposed to newer things. My musical taste ranges from Classical to Classic Rock and Country to Rap. I love a good book and am always looking for something to read. I tend to lean toward historical fiction, biographies, mysteries, and more.   1. Out of these… Marilu Henner was my #1…the others… Erin Gray, Carrie Fischer, and Marisa Tomei…were there… awesome list!

    My number one is Drew!… Barrymore that is.

      2. I remember her, but don’t know that I was ever crushing on her.

        I remember thinking Adrienne Barbeau was cute and as we’ve mentioned in the past – I thought Jan Smithers was cuter than Loni Anderson on WKRP

  3. I think my first celebrity crush as a young Hans- was- Elizabeth Montgomery as Samantha in Bewitched. I am with Badfinger also in voting for Drew Barrymore!!
