Poetry Dream?

This week I dreamt of waking up to an amazing sunrise. In the dream, I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote the following:

God’s love shines bright in the morning sun.

The warm colors express His love across the sky.

His masterpiece greets us with a brand new day.

This is far from any kind of poem I have ever written. I don’t even know that this is a poem. I just know I was overcome with emotion in the dream and wrote those words. I’m no Robert Frost, I can tell you that …..

I'm just a guy who likes the classics. I love Old Time Radio Shows. I love Classic TV. I love Classic Movies. I love songs from the "Great American Songbook". I dig songs from the first decade of Rock and Roll. Don't get me wrong, I am not opposed to newer things. My musical taste ranges from Classical to Classic Rock and Country to Rap.
