Phony Radio Commercial

My buddy Tim and I used to write phony radio commercials for each other and we used to play them on our shows. He would voice mine and I would voice his. One of the first ones we ever did was for the Keith (or Tim) Halloween Joke Book. It was basically an excuse to tell dumb Halloween Jokes on the air. Here’s how it went.

(Spooky Music)

Tim: You’ve been invited to the biggest Halloween party in town! But how can you be a hit with all of those party guests? With the Keith Allen Halloween Joke Book!

(Silly clown type music and laughter)

Keith: What kind of monster is the best dancer? The Boogieman!

(Laughter)

Tim: With the Keith Allen Halloween Joke book you’ll have them laughing with amazing lines like…

Keith: Where does Dracula water ski? On Lake Eerie! (laughter)

Tim: You’ll be the hit of the party with ….

Keith: What did the skeleton order for dinner? Spare ribs! (laughter)

Tim: And then there’s …

Keith: What kind of music do mummies listen to? Wrap Music! (laughter)

Tim: Order your Keith Allen Halloween Joke Book today for the low price of $29.95. Call the number on your screen (Remember, this is a radio ad! LOL) and get yours while supplies last! Include $10 extra for autographed copies! The Keith Allen Halloween Joke Book! It’s a laugh riot!

Keith: …it’s good for the bones!

(Silly Music out)

Then we’d play the real commercials. It was silly stupid fun.
