Every day I get a gazillion phone calls and texts from the so-called “lending companies” saying I’ve been approved for loans. Yesterday afternoon, when I woke up I had a ridiculous text message. Here is that message.
First of all, the area code is not even close to mine, so I have to imagine that this is some sort of scam. I can’t help but think if I responded to it, it would allow whoever this is access to my phone and stuff. Why do I think this way? It’s hard to believe that you can’t trust anybody these days.
This looks like an innocent text. Perhaps it is. However, I can’t help but think it is just a new way for a scammer to entrap someone.
