To mark another trip around the sun, here are some pictures I have posted in the past:

6th (or 7th) birthday. Not sure if that thing with the yellow base is a candle or not.

What is in store for this year? Well, I worked last night, so I am probably going to go to bed for a bit. To me, it is just another day, so I don’t really expect anything. I don’t need anything – just my family and friends. 56 is just a number, but it scares me. Perhaps one day I can expand on that.

  5. Happy Birthday! I know the feeling. I’m turning 57 this year, but I stopped celebrating after 50. I see it as a hopefully slow slide to the end, and I’m just going to enjoy the ride as much as I can. That’s all you can do, really.
