One Hit Wonder Day

Yesterday (9/25) was National One Hit Wonder Day. A One Hit Wonder is a song that would be considered the only hit song for an artist. In surfing through Sirius XM while driving, almost all of the “Decade” channels were playing one hit wonders yesterday.

    1. As someone who worked in radio for 30 years, I played a lot of them. Amazing how some artists just never seemed to get another hit.

There were plenty of times in my career that I’d listen to an album and wonder why certain songs weren’t released.
