Sometimes, I scroll and will come across something that really hits me. I wish I could remember where I saw this on Facebook. It is very powerful –

There’s someone I wish my children could have known. Someone I know would have loved them with their whole heart.
They would have learned their little sayings,
laughed at their stories, spoiled them in the sweetest ways, and lit up every time they walked into the room.
But sometimes, the hardest part is knowing
I’ll never get to watch these people I love so deeply love each other.
Some people leave this world before our babies arrive…
They’ll know them through pictures. Through the stories I tell. Through the little pieces of them that still live in me.
And even though they never got to meet,
we still spend years imagining the beautiful bond they would have shared.
After reading that, I took a picture of my mom and my two youngest kids and had AI create a photo.

Then I added my oldest boys to it

I cannot begin to tell you how much I wish this was real!
that’s so special and she would have loved them!

It is. I understand, though. I know there were folks that my folks wish I had known, too

Very true. How long a person lives can’t be controlled. We just make do with what we get

It is tough when you wish things were different. My husband never got to meet our third grandchild and the other two were only 5 months and 3 years old when he passed. They do talk about him like they knew him though, which I love. That picture is wonderful, though
