I got to enjoy a nice four day weekend over the holiday. One of the highlights was that my brother came up from Ohio to visit. Saturday it was just my brother and brother-in-law, but Sunday my dad joined us. It is a rare occasion for the three of us to be together. It was certainly nice to have everyone here.
We took the kids to a local children’s museum and they played while we talked. Afterward we had lunch together. It truly was a great afternoon.
My daughter, wants to play piano. My dad had an older keyboard at home that he said she could have to play on. He brought the final items to get it working when he came up. Needless to say, the search is on for a piano teacher. They will have their work cut out for them. Ella took the book that my dad brought, went page by page, pounded out whatever notes she wanted and when she got to the end said, “Well, I’ve mastered that one. I guess I’m gonna have to get a new book!”
