For non-radio people, an Aircheck is an edited compilation of clips from a DJ’s radio show. I recently stumbled on two of them that I made when I did mornings on B-95 in Flint, MI. I figured out how to create a video with audio on YouTube and put them up there.
Now that I have an idea of what I am doing, perhaps I can add clips from other shows, too. For now, I have these two 6 minute glances at our morning show. I decided to share here because a few followers have said that they’d love to hear what I sounded like on the radio. That being said, here are the links. I hope they make you laugh and make you smile.
I wish I had more photos. Instead, I used the same photos for the second audio clip…
I'm just a guy who likes the classics. I love Old Time Radio Shows. I love Classic TV. I love Classic Movies. I love songs from the "Great American Songbook". I dig songs from the first decade of Rock and Roll. Don't get me wrong, I am not opposed to newer things. My musical taste ranges from Classical to Classic Rock and Country to Rap. I love a good book and am always looking for something to read. I tend to lean toward historical fiction, biographies, mysteries, and more.
I have always believed that our past (and the things we've experienced in it) make us who we are today. That being said, after reading through some old My Space blogs (yeah, that's about how long it's been since I blogged regularly), I decided that I should once again write. Welcome to my blog. I hope you find it interesting, thought provoking, and entertaining in some way.

When you and I talked on the phone for the first time…I answered it on speaker and you spoke. Jennifer asked me (we were beside each other)…is he the disc jockey you know? I said yea…why? She said she could tell…your voice was made for radio.
Thanks for posting these clips, Keith. You guys were hilarious. BTW, not that it matters since luckily I’m not on the radio, I don’t like to hear my recorded voice either!
Thanks, Dave! We had great chemistry for sure. She was a joy to work with.
We talk often. It’s been a bit since we’ve gotten together, but we talk a lot. She was one of the first to know Sam and I were getting married. She is a true friend
Thanks, you were great at it Keith!

😂 sounds like you guys had a whole lot of fun!
(I hate hearing my voice on radio and so anything I’ve tried sounds so forced, fast and another word begining with ‘f’! ) 😂
