I found some more Moose pictures that made me laugh this week. I am not sure if this was for a charity event or if it was a St. Jude Fundraiser. Our staff was asked to play in a basketball game. They got us uniforms with the station logo on the front and each of us had part of “94.5” on the back.
I’m not sure what $24 dollars was going to do for us, but I did try to bribe the official to make things go in our favor.
There is no doubt that we were all pooped after the game. We’re all red faced and gasping for air. The next picture was one that made me laugh out loud. Morning guy Jim Biggins is holding his knee in pain, intern Crack of Dawn Shawn is flat on his back, morning gal Jodi K is the only one who doesn’t look like she’s exhausted, and I look like I am dying!
I don’t remember much about this game. If I were to guess, we lost. Events like this were one of the reasons I loved working in radio!
I'm just a guy who likes the classics. I love Old Time Radio Shows. I love Classic TV. I love Classic Movies. I love songs from the "Great American Songbook". I dig songs from the first decade of Rock and Roll. Don't get me wrong, I am not opposed to newer things. My musical taste ranges from Classical to Classic Rock and Country to Rap. I love a good book and am always looking for something to read. I tend to lean toward historical fiction, biographies, mysteries, and more.
I have always believed that our past (and the things we've experienced in it) make us who we are today. That being said, after reading through some old My Space blogs (yeah, that's about how long it's been since I blogged regularly), I decided that I should once again write. Welcome to my blog. I hope you find it interesting, thought provoking, and entertaining in some way.

well a good day for a good cause whoever it was!
I started reading ‘I hope this finds you well’, which you reviewed a few months ago. So far I’m not getting very into it (despite its Canadian setting) but I’m only 2 chapters in so I’ll keep going a bit to see if it starts to grab me more
so hilarious and fun!

a good cause. Who were you playing against, a rival station?

Honestly, I think it might have been a group of teachers or policemen. I can’t remember
