I was looking for something for a coworker yesterday and was going through a bunch of thumb drives. I actually found some photos that I had forgotten about. Look at this gem:
Sam and I took a trip down to Cleveland for our anniversary one year. We visited the Christmas Story House and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The photo above was one of those green screen pictures they take when you first walk in. They used this ridiculous pose and put us on stage with a huge crowd in front of us in one picture. My favorite was this one.
This one made me think of the Dr. Hook song “On the Cover of the Rolling Stone.” Neither one of us thought that our pose was good, but it made us laugh, so we bought the pictures. When I found it I actually chuckled out loud remembering the first time we looked at it.
That was a fantastic trip! It reminds me that we are overdue for a getaway for the two of us!
I'm just a guy who likes the classics. I love Old Time Radio Shows. I love Classic TV. I love Classic Movies. I love songs from the "Great American Songbook". I dig songs from the first decade of Rock and Roll. Don't get me wrong, I am not opposed to newer things. My musical taste ranges from Classical to Classic Rock and Country to Rap. I love a good book and am always looking for something to read. I tend to lean toward historical fiction, biographies, mysteries, and more.
I have always believed that our past (and the things we've experienced in it) make us who we are today. That being said, after reading through some old My Space blogs (yeah, that's about how long it's been since I blogged regularly), I decided that I should once again write. Welcome to my blog. I hope you find it interesting, thought provoking, and entertaining in some way.

Cool picture dude! I want to go there really bad man…to see Keith Moon’s stuff and all of the other treasures they have there…they will have to drag me out lol.
I love that feeling, when you find the old, almost forgotten photos (often as you said, on a USB jump drive, or maybe an old SD card) . I should check mine more often!
there you go! perfect

When we walked in the first thing there is Bill Haley’s guitar in a glass case. I was awestruck

I found a couple external drives in my basement recently. I’m pretty sure they are just music, but I plan on going through them anyway

You finally made the cover. And you didn’t even have to write a song about it either!
