That’s what the holidays are all about, making memories. But it’s hard when you lose a loved one but hanging on to the good times is a positive strategy.

It’s so sad when you lose someone and Christmas reminds you really quick. I know… with my mom and dad…you have to make new memories…but not forget the old…in fact you embrace them.

Well written. The older we get, the more Christmas is about positive old memories and less about the here and now, it seems to me. Of course maybe not as much for you with 2 little ones to enjoy it with still
